Gravells Kidwelly, established since 1932, boasts a strong renewables commitment with an impressive existing solar array. They offer new Kia, Renault, and Dacia vehicles, along with 600+ quality used cars and vans across multiple South Wales locations. This project underlines their dedication to the electric vehicle movement and commitment to excellent customer service.
At Gravells KIA Kidwelly, our project entailed the installation of 10 x Twin Project EV twin 22kW charging sockets. Recognising the surge in electric car sales, Kia sought to provide customers with convenient charging facilities and ensure serviced cars were returned with fully charged batteries. EV-Wales undertook the project to meet these specific requirements.
As one of Wales's busiest car dealerships, ensuring minimal disruption for staff and customers was paramount. EV-Wales meticulously scheduled all works to be conducted out of hours and late on weekends to minimize inconvenience. Extensive groundworks were necessary, expertly managed by EV-Wales through trusted groundwork partners, to accomplish the project seamlessly.
The project's successful execution has ensured that serviced cars are returned to customers with full batteries, meeting Kia's service standards. Looking ahead, plans are already in progress for the next phase to expand the charging infrastructure at the dealership, demonstrating the project's success and the continued commitment to accommodate the growing demand for electric vehicle charging services.
"We've already recommended EV Wales to a number of dealerships. I've got no problems providing reocmmendations for businesses to use them because the service we receive is very good."
