Morgan & Morgan embarked on their renewables journey all the way back in 2005, with EV-Wales contributing proudly. Morgan & Morgan Business and Technology has thrived since 1989. They're a trusted B2B Business & Technology partner, empowering businesses, organisations, and charities of all sizes.

SCOPE OF WORK

In 2022, EV-Wales collaborated with Morgan & Morgan Business & Technology based in Carmarthen.  Morgan & Morgan started their journey to net zero all the way back in 2005.  Our scope of work involved the installation of a 60kWp Solar Array, fully optimised with Solar Edge Power Optimisers. Complemented by a 30kW battery storage system, this setup ensured enhanced self-sufficiency in power generation and facilitated off-grid functionality during peak solar periods.

CHALLENGES

Amid Morgan & Morgan's sustainability journey, the primary challenge involved augmenting their power generation capacity while maintaining operational efficiency. Our task was to integrate robust solar infrastructure and battery storage systems seamlessly within their existing setup, ensuring a smooth transition toward sustained off-grid functionality, especially during sunny periods.

IMPACT

This collaboration led to transformative changes. Morgan & Morgan now sources 100% of its energy needs on sunny days from self-generated solar energy. The integrated solar array and battery storage solution guarantee sustained power supply, bolstering operational resilience and enabling seamless off-grid functionality. Additionally, their exemplary waste management practices and staff engagement initiatives further reinforce their commitment to sustainability, creating a workforce aligned with the company's net zero goals.
